june 2022: passing the baton.

Dear Family and Friends,

It’s hard to believe that this is our last update from Idaho! Our next one will be posted when we’re in North Carolina visiting Caitlyn’s family, and the next one will be sent from Jerusalem! About this time next month, we will be preparing for our flight to Israel. We are officially in the countdown!

We were given a few more things to do for our visas, so we are currently in the process of getting things together to finalize that. We are trusting that everything will work out quickly, and we have our passports back before we leave for the East Coast. We are so grateful for all the help we have received both on the Israel side and Stateside to make this happen!

This month has been so beautifully full, and we’ve had the opportunity to engage in worship all over the state with various ministries. We’ve been blessed to speak at a couple more churches (one in Idaho and one in Oregon), lead worship at the church in Oregon, participate in a prayer set at the Boise Capitol building this month, and attend a tent revival in Washington. It was amazing to worship with groups of people who are so passionate about seeing Jesus worshipped, glorified, and made famous in the Pacific Northwest!

Caitlyn has been helping with the Worship Program at Camp ALACCA, since she finished her job with the school in the beginning of June. Michael has been training his Tech Coordinator replacement for the school district, and today is his last official day! Please be praying that this specific transition continues to go well as it impacts a lot of people.

Our personal transition is going well. Our house is packed up, and we’re essentially living out of suitcases now! Our second yard sale went really well, and the things that didn’t sell went to Second Hand Treasures (a local thrift store that supports Saint John Bosco Academy). We want to thank everyone who donated items to our yard sales and all who showed up to financially support! It was great to see everyone, and we’re also so grateful for the financial blessing that came from it as well.

Our move to Israel truly would not be possible without this kind of external support. We desire to have a large network of people supporting us in prayer and donations. We are so grateful for all who have already financially and prayerfully supported us over the last few months!

We need $15,000 for an initial deposit (covers the first six months) and then $2,800 (which covers both of us!) in monthly support after that. We currently have $1,960 in monthly support and the full $15,000 for our initial deposit! We are praising God for how so many things have lined up so quickly and praying for the remaining monthly supporters to come. We are so touched by how many people have partnered with us already to see us go and do what the Lord is calling us to! If you are still wanting to contribute, the best way to contribute financially is through a one-time or monthly donation. You can give through our website, stevenstotheone.com, through Tithe.ly, PayPal, Zelle, or the WordPress donation box. Tithe.ly is our preferred, and only tax-deductible, method.

Thank you again for partnering with us in this adventure! We know it is a sacrifice to support us financially, and we want you to know how much we truly appreciate it. We also want to be clear that your prayerful support means much more to us than any donation. We’d also love to invite you to follow our blog and social media profiles for all our updates and stories! We are so grateful for our team of prayer warriors, generous givers, and Kingdom family! Thanks for being a part of it!

With Love and Shalom, Michael + Caitlyn Stevens
